Yanina Figueroa, DMD

Dr. Yanina Figueroa, DMD, is a talented and dedicated endodontist who thrives on the challenges presented by her specialty. When asked why she chose endodontics, she enthusiastically replies, “I love the challenge—every person and tooth is different. There is never a dull moment, just a dull bur!”

Originally from Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico, Dr. Figueroa attended Blanca Malaret, her town’s public high school. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez Campus before pursuing her DMD at the University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine. Building on her foundation, she completed a two-year General Practice Residency at the same institution, where she had the opportunity to work with diverse patients with complex health conditions in a hospital setting. As a faculty member of the General Practice Residency, Dr. Figueroa contributed her expertise to the Diabetes Clinic and University District Hospital. Concurrently, she pursued a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Puerto Rico, specializing in the field of Public Health.
