A Nebraska native, Dr. Jamie Irwin Richard grew up in Omaha, NE as the first of 3 children. She graduated cum laude from Ball State University Honors College with a BS in Biology on academic and gymnastics scholarships. Upon graduation, Dr. Richard was fortunate to have the opportunity to become a dental assistant in a community clinic where she realized that dentistry was the career choice for her. After graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry with a DDS degree, she decided to complete a one-year intense general practice residency at the University of Washington in Seattle.
